Celebrate Fishing Fun With Family & Friends On Free Fishing Day
Free fishing day is drawing near and you have the opportunity to celebrate fishing with someone special! Free Fishing Days are June 2nd and June 3rd for Oklahoma. In Texas, the free fishing day is June 2nd.
Mentor & Be Great Role Model
The special day is great for taking children fishing with you. Or, it is a wonderful opportunity to mentor someone being a role model to them. Teach them some of the basics of fishing during the free fishing holiday.
No Fishing Permits Required
Did you miss out on fishing with the family on Memorial Day weekend? Take your loved ones to the lake this weekend! Fishing permits are not required on the state free fishing days.
Free Family Fishing Clinics
Various wildlife departments will also be hosting free family fishing clinics this summer. Classes will include basics of fishing for beginners such as fish identification, equipment use, how to tie knots, and more. Clinics will be held in June as well as July.
