Lake Eufaula Ok Events: Oklahoma Festival of Ballooning

Come to join the celebration in the sky at the Oklahoma Festival of Ballooning! The celebration is a magical event of hot air balloons riding taking place near Lake Eufaula Ok on August 17th and August 18th.

Admission & Parking

Admission to the event is free for anyone who desires to attend. There is a parking fee for those attending the event. Parking passes are available for only $10 per vehicle. RV spots are also offered at $10 per night for the initial event.

Balloon Rides

Balloon rides will be offered to the community. Tethered balloon rides will be $15 per person. Balloon passenger rides will be available for $250 per person. Pricing may change, so please contact the leaders of the event for precise details.

Presentation of Event

The presentation of this Lake Eufaula Ok event is presented by the Muskogee Parks & Recreation Department. Contestants will compete for the Oklahoma Hot Air Balloon Championship Governor Trophy. This is the first event of its kind for the department.

The activities for the Oklahoma Festival of Ballooning will depend on the weather conditions on the day of the event. The department desires all participants to enjoy the celebration in a safe manner while following the guidelines of regulation for the event.
